Friendly staff! Christina does very thorough and precise dental work. She has great customer service (patient follow up calls from Christina).

It’s always a pleasure visiting Dr. Thompson’s dental office! Dr. Thompson and her staff are highly knowledgeable, caring, cheerful and efficient. I’m always in and out of the office on time, and with extra time taken to clearly explain problems and solutions. In my initial visit I saw high resolution digital pictures of my teeth for the first time which was amazing. The office has a relaxing beach atmosphere which feels “fresh”, notably with new floors, furniture, computers. Additionally, Dr. Thompson is eco-conscious, which is important to me! We had a great conversation today about how she is continually reviewing materials and processes for a better work and world environment. Over all, my teeth feel GREAT, thank you Dr. Thompson!

I visited Dr Thompson’s office for an initial evaluation and cleaning. The office and staff are very inviting and professional. Dr Thompson spent some time with me getting to know me and my health in general, which was very nice. She palpated my neck which no other dentist has done, but it makes a lot of sense to do so. Altogether it was a great experience. With her knowledge, equipment and team, I think she’ll be a great addition to my health team.

We feel very blessed to of found Christina Thompson She has taken wonderful care of our families teeth. I used to be anxious when I went to the dentist. Thankfully, all that has changed and I look forward to my check ups.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Thompson’s for several years, usually just having teeth cleaned twice a year and X-ray’d and checked once a year. The dental hygienists in Dr. Thompson’s office are excellent and take the time to do a thorough job of teeth cleaning. The staff is always pleasant and helpful and technically competent.

I’ve been waiting several years to have the crowns on my two front teeth replaced and finally decided to take the plunge. I was worried that the work wouldn’t turn out well, and I would have paid a considerable amount of money for no improvement. Dr. Thompson was patient with all my concerns and took them into consideration. After the temporaries were put in place, she asked me to take a couple of days to look them over and give her feedback on their appearance before she ordered the permanent crowns. I did that and met with her again, giving her my feedback.

The outcome was perfect! I’m so pleased with my new front teeth. What an improvement over the old ones. Dr. Thompson really knows what she’s doing, and I’d recommend her to anyone wanting to improve the appearance of their teeth.

I had already decided to change dentists and had made an appointment with Dr. Thompson to have my usual teeth cleaning in January but I chipped a tooth a few days ago and called to have Dr. Thomson take a look. I talked with KC, her receptionist, who is a pleasure to engage. I got right in and had the issue resolved. I really like Dr. Thompson and her entire staff. Dr. Thompson is warm, friendly and kind. As someone who isn’t fond of going to the dentist, it was a pleasant experience. The office has a good vibe and friendly atmosphere which I did not experience at the last dental office in Encinitas. While I can’t say I’m looking forward to my next cleaning 🙂 I’m glad I’ll be returning to this office.

Just teeth cleaning, although, superb work. Exceptionally friendly staff and I look forward to chatting with them. They are really great people and have been taking care of my whole family for many years.

I can’t say enough about professional, friendly and efficient dental experience I had with Dr. Christina Thompson’s facility in Encinitas. This was my first visit to this facility, but the staff made this my most pleasant Dental visit I’ve ever had. I had two teeth fillings replaced, without pain and almost enjoyed the experience. I’ll be back!!

Always a positive experience in this dental practice. The staff are all very capable and friendly. Excellent handling of insurance and billing. Our family has used this dental office since before Dr. Thompson became the principal dentist, and the ownership transition was seamless. We loved this place before, and continue to do so.

My husband and I were recommended to Christina Thompson a few years ago by a client of ours. Christina is such a kind person her calm demeanor and team put you right at ease from the minute you walk in. We’ve had cleanings with Summer who is the most thorough hygienist I’ve experienced. Invisalign, filings and most recently a dental emergency with Christina. My husband broke off a older corner composite of his front tooth, in a panic we called in to see if she could squeeze him in to fix asap. (He looked like Jim Carey from dumb and dumber) Although I’m sure it’s not always so easy for a dental emergency to squeeze in but we are so so grateful. His tooth actually looks so much better than the previous composite. I really highly recommend Christina Thompson and her team!

I went in for a chipped tooth. Dr. Thompson bonded material to the back of the tooth matching the color perfectly. It looks better than it did before the chip. Dr. Thompson is skilled and gentle; I had no anasthesia and didn’t feel a thing. She is now my regular dentist. Casey at the front desk is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about insurance.

Best dental experience I have ever had. My wife made me go to the dentist as I had not been in quite some time. I’m so glad she is my dentist! She actually cares about your mouth. I did not feel the pressure of upselling mouth guards, etc. Lovley experience!

Christina and her team are great! My husband and I don’t have dental insurance so it had been awhile. We came in for cleaning and X-rays. It was a great experience. The hygienist did the most thorough job I’ve ever had! Her team is very nice and calm which is comforting when going to the dentist, my husband is very anxious about dental work. They are always prompt and ready with a smile. I just started my Invisalign treatment with Christina & my husband had his wisdom teeth removed by Dr. David Smith which she recommended. Overall I highly reccomend Christina Thompson and her team!

Christina Thompson is quite simply the best dentist ever. She and her team are extremely professional and having been her patient now for several years, I can personally attest to her incredibly warm and personal bedside manner and her amazing attention to detail. Dr. Christina Thompson and her team (including KC at the front desk) are exceptional: professional, knowledgeable, and interested in knowing their patients and concerns to provide the best care. From the entire team, including hygienists Summer and Lauren, explanations and details are clear and understandable, including good options for two challenging issues. The team takes their time (about two hours; longest time that I have spent with a dentist) to do the work thoroughly, and the results are amazing in all aspects (deep cleaning, fillings fit, color match, gentle, minimal discomfort). I was referred to Christina by two friends and will continue to refer her enthusiastically to other friends as well.

In terms of care, her team is incredibly thorough and they offer useful suggestions for me at home. They also embrace the latest in dentistry technology, so I always feel like they are on the cutting edge of taking care of teeth. But most important for me, the customer service is second to none. Always trying to make me feel more comfortable, and they listen well to my needs. If there was an option above 5-stars, I’d select that.

I switched to Dr. Thompson solely because she took my insurance and was close to where I live. Little did I know how wonderful my new dentist would be! First of all, the entire staff is very warm and friendly. I feel like walking into “Cheers” when I go because not only does everyone know my name, they remember all kinds of things about me! I can’t remember what I had for breakfast and these people remember minute details I told them last time I was in! Summer is a gentle, thorough and talented hygienist and Dr. Thompson does a great over all job. I even like the music they play while I’m getting my teeth worked on. My husband and I were referred to Dr. Christina Thompson by clients of ours. They offered a first time client cleaning + X-rays price so we gave her team a try. It was the absolute best cleaning I’ve ever had. Her hygienist was so thorough, I mean its never fun having work done on your teeth but she did an amazing job. I came back for fillings which was also the best experience I got head phones, a blanket, movie and sun glasses for the light. It was as comfortable and enjoyable as you could be having fillings done. I highly recommend Christina and her team. From the minute you walk in everyone is so nice the location and environment is clean and calming. We don’t have insurance but we felt her cash prices were really fair.

Dr. Thompson has been me and my husband’s dentist for years. She is professional, friendly and reliable. We trust her skills and knowledge so much that we followed her to her office in San Diego County, even though we live in Orange County.

In the past our kids went to a children’s dentist near us. Recently our 7 year old son had a cavity and we decided take him to her. She and her staff were so kind to him and even though he was scared before he went, he said he barely noticed anything while she was working on him.
Anyway, we have always had a great experience with Dr. Thompson and we recommend her highly.

The best dentist you will ever find. Dr. Thompson and her staff are incredibly gentle and thoughtful and helpful. My husband always dreads the dentist and after his first visit here, was actually excited to get not only his teeth cleaned, but work done. Unheard of. I couldn’t have had a better experience or trust a dentist more – from the ease and great care, to a consistently short wait time in the lovely office (though they do have the best reading material you’ll find in most homes, let alone offices), gentle cleanings and fillings, blankets for when you’re cold, and a great selection of movies and shows to fill the time – I really couldn’t recommend it here more.

From the staff to the care this is by far the best dentist I’ve ever had. I have tried a few dentists in the area since moving here a few years ago and I have finally found the best! I have lots of dental work to be done and I feel comfortable, confident, and well taken care with Dr. Thompsons staff. Christina is gentle but thorough and provides options for all kinds of budgets and timelines. The office is stylish, spotless and actually a pleasure to get dental work in. Upon my visit the receptionist was very polite and pleasant to talk too made me feel very comfortable. The office area also was a comfortable and relaxing environment which was nice after my 3 hr. drive. My dental hygienist was Summer Waldo she was very professional and thorough in her examination and cleaning. I asked her a lot of questions pertaining too her equipment and tools her answers were very clear and concise, she told me that I had a small chip on the outer portion of my crown and that it was ok for now but maybe later it might need to be worked on. It was a great visit I will be down again and recommend office highly to others : )

I switched over about a year a half. I was referred by a co-worker. It must have been great for him because he drives from the OC. My experience has always been more than a pleasure. I have referred a friend as well and she was pleased. The staff is very professional and I felt welcomed immediately. I would highly recommend this dental office. I used to dread going to the dentist, but since I started seeing Dr. Thompson over 5 yrs ago I don’t! Everyone there is so sweet and kind, and work to make you as comfortable and relaxed as possible. And Dr. Thompson and her hygienists do first-class work. I’ve never left her office not completely satisfied. I recommend them whole-heartedly!
